Dhanteras falls on the 13th day of the lunar cycle, this year devotees will observe Dhanatrayodashi on Tuesday, October 29, 2024.  

In Sanskrit Dhan means Wealth and Teras means the thirteenth day of the lunar cycle.

• Equity: Investing in equity during Dhanteras is also a good option. The National Stock Exchange (NSE) and Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE) will open an annual hour-long Muhurat Trading session on November 1, Friday.
