During the first of the Dil-Lumniati Tour concert held at Delhi's JLN Stadium, Punjabi singer, actor Diljit Dosanjh emphasized on the value of spending 10 minutes in the wee hours of the day with yourself. Further, the G.O.A.T singer, who's fresh-off from touring his worldwide tour advised people to talk to themselves, and manifest what they want.

The 40-year-old singer said, “Whatever you want will happen for you. Instead of checking the phone in the morning, I would request you all to speak to yourselves for 10 minutes every morning. Do whatever you want — meditation, yoga, or whatever else. Just spend 10 minutes with yourself. This is my personal experience. I am a desi guy, but I have sold out tickets for this concert. (In gestures — all because of mind-power)."

Does taking 10 minutes for yourself work like magic-trick?

If one is able to avoid the urge not to check social media or work-related emails after waking up, as it saves time and can avoid stress. A workout routine helps as it ensures you get your daily dose of fitness. This, combined with some time spent with family, also helps streamline the mornings better.

Spending a few minutes with yourself in the morning can help you approach the day ahead calmly. You could opt for breathing exercises, meditation, spend time in nature, journal, or walk outdoors, or have a glass of lukewarm lemon water to brush off those Monday blues.  However, its pertinent that people tailor their mornings based on one's health state, timings, and choices.
