It comes in November and celebrates the various traditions, cultures, folk songs, and the folk dance of Rajasthan. It is usually a three-day celebration in the town of Rajasthan. Some of the most popular events are the Deepdan ceremony, sports, moustache competition, turban binding competition and many more. In the Deepdan ceremony, men light up the lamps and pass it on to the women who then release them to the river to have positivity in the family. Various sports such as kabaddi, horse riding, and camel race are also organised to create enthusiasm among the people of the town. You can also find a rich variety of stalls during the competition. In the moustache competition, the contestant with the best moustache is awarded at the ceremony while the one who ties a beautiful turban on his head in less time is the winner of the turban tying competition. Such type of events often create a friendly atmosphere in the competition. The Bundi Festival is organised by Rajasthan State Tourism Department.
