The One with All the Resolutions

The episode’s plot is based in post-Christmas time, just as New Year’s Eve ends, but the episode does have some on-point timed jokes and punchlines. In here, Ross, whose New Year’s Resolution was to try something new every day, wears leather pants on a date, which seems like the wrong outfit for a date. During this phase, Chandler and Monica were secretly dating but Rachel and Joey, who were the first to know the truth, try to figure out what is going between the two.
The One with the Monkey
The 10th episode of Season 1 of Friends is the first aired holiday episode, and its holiday spirit is mainly based on the six pals’ pact to go stag on New Year’s Eve. Some important side characters like Marcel, Janice, David, and Fun Bobby were introduced in this episode. Also, the viewers learnt that Fun Bobby’s grandfather just died. Sorry, Fun Bobby.
