The festive season calls for a lot of cleaning. One thing that is taken lightly but is actually important is keeping your wardrobe clean. When your wardrobe smells good, your clothes will also smell good eventually. There are a few wardrobe organising tips that you can follow to keep your wardrobe away from odour. Have a look at these hacks to keep your wardrobe fragrant.

1.       Scented sheets

You can keep your wardrobe away from odour with this easy step. All you need to do is dip the washed blankets and sheets in a bucket of water which a little bit of cloth conditioner in it. Keep these clean and scented sheets in your wardrobe. The sheet will also pass on the scent to other clothes that are in the wardrobe.

2.       Soap bars

Buy a scented soap bar and rip the packets off. Now peel the upper layer of the scented soap. This will make the scent of the soap stronger. Now wrap the soap in a piece of cloth, preferably a clean sock or a handkerchief. Keep the wrapped soap in the wardrobe that you use. This will help the scent accumulate in the closed space and eventually make your wardrobe smell good.

3.       Baking soda

Baking soda is known for its cleaning properties. However, what most people are not aware of is that it helps in eliminating odour as well. All you have to do is add two to three spoons of baking soda in a breathable container and place it in your wardrobe. This will help you maintain a natural, odour-free fragrance in the wardrobe.

4.       Scented hangers

You can buy scented hangers online or even make something of the sort at home. Buy a few wooden hangers and replace your regular wire hangers. You can rub soap or scent on the wooden hanger and leave it in the closet. However, you might have to repeat this exercise once in a while. This will also make your clothes look good in the wardrobe if you decide to show it to someone.
