Badam ka Kahwa is basically is a famous Kashmiri tea served in the winters. The Badam kahwa needs only 10 minutes to prepare and is power-packed with essential nutrients for your cosy winters. Here is the recipe for the famous healthy tea recipe from the Kashmir valley.

Badam Kahwa recipe

Consuming this tea on winter mornings will give you a punch of power-packed day as it is filled with essential nutrients, including protein and healthy fats. Made with ingredients that include green tea bags, almond slivers, cardamom, cinnamon, cloves, honey, and Kesar, the tea is a nutrient-rich drink. Here is the recipe to prepare this tea-

  • To make a serving of four teacups, boil 5 cups of water in a saucepan.
  • Add cardamom (2), cloves (2), cinnamon (1 stick) and Kesar (8 strands) into the boiling water.
  • Simmer the pan for few minutes and add honey (4 teaspoons) and two green tea bags in it. 
  • Switch off the stove and let the tea stand for 2-3 minutes.
  • Remove the spices and tea bags as soon as 3 minutes are over else the tea will get too strong and some might not like the taste.
  • Prepare the almonds by cutting it in small slivers and adding few slivers on each cup.
  • The tea is prepared and is better to be consumed hot during winters.
