Amidst all the political differences, ruptures in alliances, politicians jumping ship and their supporters clashing with each other, Delhi-based restaurant Ardor 2.1 has found a way to celebrate the chaotic elections.
A heap load of food from every state in the country!
The 'United India Thali' is the confluence of 28 different dishes for each state in the country. Ironically, no union territories are included. Sorry, Delhi.
It also pays tribute to the star of this Lok Sabha season - PM Narendra Modi, with the 'Chowkidar paratha.'
The humungous thali weighs 10.5 kilos and consists several dishes from the north-south-east-west and center including Galouti Kebabs from UP, Bati Chokha from Bihar, Momos from the Eastern Sisters, Prawn curry from Goa, Dum Biryani from Hyderabad, Dhokla from Gujarat and the classic Maharashtrian tiffin, according to Knocksense.
The speciality of the thali is that it varies according to when you visit the restaurant. The menu of the thali keeps changing as the seven phases of the Lok Sabha elections progress.
Situated in Connaught Place, New Delhi, Ardor 2.1 introduced the thali on April 11, the first day of Lok Sabha polls. The Lok Sabha polls is in progress in seven phases on April 11,18,23 and 29 and May 6,12 and 19. The results will be announced on May 23.
