The word chaat usually has come around from the taste of chatpatta which means something sweet, salty, and tangy in most snacks. Whenever someone pronounces the word chaat, we are reminded of the tangy, sweet and salty flavour that leaves your mouth watering. There are variations in the preparation of chat across India. Let's take a look at chat varieties across India.

1. Aloo Chaat

Aloo Chat was once the most popular side dish in the northern parts of India, especially Delhi. It is one of the humble street food you can explore and taste in Delhi. This yummy food is prepared by mixing boiled potato, chopped onions, and tomatoes. Later the chat is garnished with spices and chutneys

2. Papri Chaat

Papri Chat is yet another delicious food that is known to have its origin in the Mughul Court. This delicious food is prepared by mixing together papdi, boiled potatoes, yoghurt, onions, and garnished with coriander leaves. This dish is popular all over the northern parts of India. 3. Samosa Chaat

5. Bhelpuri
