Bhutte Ka Kees
This is one of the most famous dishes in Madhya Pradesh. An ideal dish for all corn lovers, Bhutte Ka Kees is spicy with a pinch of sweetness. It is grated corn cooked with Indian spices and then simmered in milk to add a little sweet taste to it. For flavour, green chillies and mustard seeds are also added. Daal Bafla
This delicacy is made taking inspiration from the famous dish of Rajasthan, daal baati. Bafla is wheat dough shaped into balls, cooked until the outer covering becomes crisp. They are then dipped in ghee. The bafla is served with daal (lentils boiled and cooked with spices) and hari chutney (coriander sauce). This meal is rich in proteins, vitamins, carbohydrates, and fats. Therefore, Daal Bafla is a healthy option for lunch.
Seekh Kebab
The food of Madhya Pradesh is highly influenced by Mughal cuisine. You will observe most of the Mughalai cuisine is served all over the state.
