Capsicums are not just crunchy and full of flavour, but also they are loaded with essential nutrients. These colourful fruits (yes, they are fruits!) are packed with incredible amounts of Vitamin C and are excellent sources of folate, potassium, iron and fibre. Besides, their raw consumption in salads, Bell Peppers make interesting ingredients in scrumptious delicacies. Here are some finger-licking recipes that make capsicums even more desirable.

1. Aaloo sang Shimla Mirch

Enamour your taste buds with this quick recipe. Heat oil in a pan and toss chopped potatoes and capsicums together in it. Sprinkle salt, red chilli powder, and add garlic-ginger paste as per your taste. Sauté them and you are good to go.

2. Bharva Shimla Mirch

Mashed potatoes blended with a host of spices, cottage cheese, and dry fruits to make a great stuffing for garden green capsicum. Remove the insides of capsicum and pour the stuffing till the top. Roast or bake this delicacy to perfection and serve for dinner.

3. Pickled pepper
