Milk, Sugar, Ghee, Saffron
Instructions
- Use a strong-bottomed pan.
- Water in the pan for 2 teaspoons. Add basmati rice and roast until it becomes fragrant.
- Add the milk and boil with rice. Cook until the rice is fully cooked. It should take 30-40 minutes.
- Add the almonds, sugar, and saffron.
- Simmer for another 10 minutes, and you are ready to go.

You need 1.5 cups of thin coconut milk and 1/2 cup of thick coconut milk to make a paal payasam with coconut milk.
