2. Keep your skin hydrated
Drink plenty of water. You can make detox water at home using amla and tulsi leaves. It helps in flushing out toxins and gives essential anti-oxidants to the skin. It is also said that you should wash your face at least twice a day. With constant hydration, it is also essential to choose the right face wash as per your skin type. Washing helps to get rid of dirt and pollutants as easily as possible.

Applying sun protection on a daily basis is very essential to protect your skin from air pollution. You can also choose a body lotion that contains sun protecting elements such as SPF. Not only are UV rays harmful to the skin, but they also amplify the effects of pollutants. Sunscreens are chemically proven to trap the smog particles and prevent harmful chemicals from penetrating deep in the skin.
