The chef of India has made the country proud and has established it internationally in the culinary world. Here are few of them and their International journey.

India has been establishing and developing itself in the culinary world internationally. There are several chefs that have made a contribution to India achieving a renowned position across the whole world. There are Indian chefs who have restaurants globally and are well known. Here is a list of famous Indian chef that who made their name internationally.

Sanjeev Kapoor

Chef Sanjeev Kapoor is one of the most known chefs in the Indian culinary world. Sanjeev Kapoor hosts the show Khana Khazana, which is the longest-running show of its kind in Asia. It is broadcast in 120 countries. He also launched his own TV channel, FoodFood and is the earliest recognized face in the culinary shows of India. Sanjeev has won several awards which include National Award for Best Chef of the Year 2008 by the Government of India. He also owns several restaurants, not just in India but abroad too.

Ranveer Brar

A food stylist, host of a TV show and an Indian chef, Ranveer Brar is one of the most remarkable and renowned chefs who is internationally known. His television shows include Breakfast Xpress, Snack Attack, Homemade, The Great Indian Rasoi, Health Bhi Taste Bhi, Ranveer’s Cafe, Food Tripping and Thank God It’s Fryday. He was also one of the judges for season four of MasterChef India. He has a few restaurants in the US and other parts of the world.

Vikas Khanna

Indian Michelin Star chef Vikas Khanna has carved a noteworthy niche for himself in the culinary industry. He has made the nation proud many times through his notable contributions. The chef has appeared as a judge on the Indian cooking reality show, Masterchef. He is also a prominent author. Reportedly Vikas has written around 28 books on cooking, including a children's book titled, A Tree Named Ganga. There are other reasons to be proud of Vikas Khanna as the chef has also represented the nation at an international level. He has also cooked for former President Obama and his family at the White House.

Shipra Khanna

Shipra Khanna had won MasterChef India in the year 2012. Since then, she went on to write a dozen cookbooks, host cookery programmes and remain as India’s culinary ambassadors. Shipra Khanna’s cookbook called The Spice Route was reportedly inspired from her travels, recipes from her grandmother and mother and also from the kitchen of MasterChef. Her book has been honoured by Le Cordon Bleu Paris
