The festive season has finally been coming to an end. Diwali is a festival where we tend to indulge in many delicacies. It is that time of the year when we have our cheat days without any hesitation. However, post-Diwali, it is the time to unwind and engage in some much-needed detox. This is extremely important to maintain a healthy lifestyle. The key is to follow a balanced diet along with the consumption of some healthy home-cooked food. Diwali is finally over now and it is time to consume the right detox food to give your body the right nourishment.

Fruits

Fruits are one of the best diets which can be consumed as a detox. They have certain phytonutrients which makes it a very healthy diet. These are again an ideal source for a detox diet. They consist of certain phytochemicals which are extremely beneficial for health. Vegetables like broccoli, cabbage and cauliflower also play an important role when it comes to liver detox in the body. 

Beans

They are another good source to consume as a detox diet. They are very rich in constituents like iron, fibre and protein. They are also quick and easy to prepare. Some of the beans include lentils, green peas and kidney beans (rajma).
