Olive oil is a pale yellow to light green coloured (depending on the quality of the olive oil) high viscous oil which is called Jaitun ka tel in Hindi. It is derived by pressing the olive fruits. Olive oil is available in different forms. For example, premium extra virgin, extra virgin, fine virgin, virgin, semi-fine virgin and pure olive oil. - Olive oil, in the Mediterranean diet, has proved to be beneficial in improving brain function and could act as a source of Alzheimer's treatment.
- Rich in healthy MUFA, olive oil makes a perfect healthy choice for cooking as the monounsaturated fatty acids in the olive oil are resistant to high heat.

- Olive oils are rich in antioxidants, Vitamin E, and Vitamin K as well.
