Pregnancy signs can be spotted in the early days. But sometimes, they can be misinterpreted too. Just to be sure and confirm your pregnancy, you can take a look at the following signs. And if the result is positive, do visit the nearest gynaecologist to confirm your pregnancy.

Vomiting and Nausea

This is one of the most common pregnancy signs. If you are a few weeks into the pregnancy, you will surely feel nauseous. In most cases, women feel sick right after they wake up in the morning. In case you have confirmed your pregnancy, it is advised to have small, frequent meals throughout the day. This will help you curb the nauseous feeling.

Frequent need to visit the restroom

Your Uterus swells up when you are pregnant. This leads to an increase in pressure on your Urinary bladder. This symptom starts showing up within a week or maximum two weeks. I mean, we all remember Phoebe from F.R.I.E.N.D.S quoting, "It is the tenth time I went to pee since I have been here!", while she was carrying her triplets. Clearly, she was not joking about it!

Constipation

Detecting pregnancy gets easier with the amount of attention you pay towards the little changes in your body. Pregnancy slows down the bowel functioning. Even though this is one of the early pregnancy signs, it gets worse with passing time. Do not take constipation lightly.

Irritability

This is similar to the mood swings that you experience when you are on your periods, but just at a higher level. Irritability is one of the evident symptoms of pregnancy. However, moderate exercise and a proper diet can help you control it. It is advised that expecting mothers get enough sleep to avoid feeling irritated all the time.

Heartburn

This is another subtle pregnancy sign. The increase of Human Chorionic Gonadotrophin hormone in your body affects the digestive system, making it slow. The Uterus gets swollen, pushing it upwards. This also results in the higher release of stomach acids, leading to heartburns. This is one of the painful pregnancy signs folks!

Breast Tenderness

Another common pregnancy sign is tenderness in the breasts. Also, an increase in breast size is a common development during pregnancy. When you are expecting, your breast veins get more visible and your nipples become sensitive. It is known to get painful around pregnancy.

High Blood Pressure

This is one of the pregnancy signs that cannot be relied upon as much as other symptoms of pregnancy. Can you know if you are pregnant through blood pressure fluctuation? You actually cannot. It is best to consult a doctor for this. But in most cases, your blood pressure gets high during pregnancy.

Symptoms of pregnancy are easy to detect if you pay close attention. Pregnancy signs should be detected early in order to deal with it. Some of these symptoms are very subtle and can be hard to spot. DISCLAIMER- Although these signs can help you determine whether you are pregnant or not, it is always recommended that you consult a doctor for pregnancy confirmation.
