According to Health and Medicine Division (HMD), women should drink around 2.7 litres of water a day, whereas men should drink about 3.7 litres of water every day. For a healthy body, try to drink 8 or more cups of water a day. People with digestive issues should stay hydrated.
Ginger
Ginger has been used for medicinal purposes since ancient times. It is an excellent cure for issues like stomach aches and nausea. According to PubMed, National Institute of Health, ginger can be an effective treatment for the upset stomach as it is a natural inflammatory. It consists of chemicals that help in speeding up stomach contractions. This will allow the movement of food that is causing indigestion. Ginger also helps in treating vomiting and diarrhoea.

Mint helps in sweetening the breath. The menthol in mint helps in preventing diarrhoea and vomiting. It helps in the reduction of muscle spasms in the intestines and relieves pain. Researchers of the Institute of National Health have found that mint is a traditional treatment of indigestion, gas, and diarrhoea. Consuming raw or cooked mint leaves can lead to immediate relief.
Cinnamon
Cinnamon contains anti-oxidant that helps eases digestion. It reduces the risk of irritation and damage in the digestive tract. Cinnamon helps in reducing gas, bloating and belching. It neutralizes stomach acidity to reduce heartburn and indigestion.
