GM diet plan or the General Motors Diet is one of the most popular diets all over the world, which helps one lose weight merely in seven days. As easy as it sounds, reportedly there are certain side-effects attached to it like nausea, terrible headache and excess weight gain post the diet. The gm diet is massively followed across the globe, primarily because easy to follow without much of a hassle and investment. The GM diet is low in carbohydrates and high-protein diet. Minimum intake of 12 glasses of water is a must for effective results, thus do not prevent yourself from being hydrated throughout the week.
What to eat on a GM diet?
- Day 1 - Fruits: The first day of any diet is generally the most difficult one because you suddenly switch from your regular eating habits to the all-new calculated diet regime. The first day of your GM diet includes consumption of fruits and fruits only, nothing else. For breakfast, you can have an apple, for lunch opt for a bowl of diced watermelon, and for dinner, you can have one portion of kiwi.
- Day 2 - Vegetables: On the second day of your diet, you are required to swift gears to fresh fibre-rich veggies. Sweet baked potato for breakfast, lettuce-cucumber-tomato salad for lunch. You can repeat the same salad recipe for dinner or can have a bowl of cucumber instead.
- Day 3 - Fruits and vegetables: The third day is a little more refreshing as you can have a combination of fruits and vegetables during the day. For breakfast, you must have a bowl of watermelon, fresh veggies salad for lunch (avoid carrots). For dinner, you can have a bowl of mixed berries.
- Day 4 - Banana and milk: The fourth day is different from the first three days of the GM diet, during which you can either consume milk or bananas. You can have two bananas and one whole glass of milk for both breakfast and lunch. Another option is the GM special wonder soup, which is is a vegetable soup full of green veggies with a pinch of salt in it. For dinner, you must have two glasses of milk and bananas each.
- Day 5 - Rice and mutton: You can eat 85 grams of grilled or boiled mutton with two medium-sized tomatoes for breakfast and lunch both. For dinner, you can have fresh tomato juice.
- Day 6-Mutton and vegetables: Once again you need to eat 85 grams of grilled or boiled mutton with leafy salad for both breakfast and lunch. For dinner, you need to consume a bowl of wonder soup, which you also had on 'Day 4' of your diet.
- Day 7 - Vegetables, fruits and rice: On the last day of the diet you can have a bowl of brown rice throughout the day. Team it with orange fruit, fresh fruit juice and vegetable salad respectively.
