Here are some of the foods that you must consume during winter.
Soup
You may not feel thirsty during winter, but keeping yourself hydrated is a must. Drinking clear soup or a soup which has a lot of vegetables is the ideal way to keep yourself hydrated. Include vegetables laden with vitamin C, like broccoli and cauliflower in your soup that will help you with your immune system.
Dry Fruits
Dry fruits like almonds, cashews and dates, etc. are a natural source to keep your body warm. Dryfruits are known as the powerhouse of nutrients. It is best to consume them raw, however, you can mix them with your salad or include them in your milk. Keeping your body warm this winter will reduce the risk of diseases.
Ghee
Homemade ghee or clarified butter has many health benefits including adding glow to your skin. Ghee helps with your digestion and adds warmth to your body. They provide warmth to the body and helps with the immunity system. Ginger is one of the best food to consume during the winter season, as it promotes blood flow and boosts metabolism. Adding ginger in your tea or drinking it with lukewarm water is especially beneficial.
