What is an Epilator?

Epilator is an electrical device that plucks your hair from the roots and gives makes your skin smooth. Although it sounds the same as waxing, there is a difference. The process of waxing includes wax, whereas in epilation, removal of hair is without wax or cream. It is easy and can be done at home.

Step 1 - Take a hot water bath

All you need to do is take a hot water bath as it will also make the process less painful. Why? Because hot water opens up the pores of the skin. If our pores are open, it becomes easy to pull out the dirt and hair from the roots.

Step 2 - Rub your skin with a towel

The second step is rubbing your skin with a towel. Rubbing the towel will make the body hair sensitive. It will help an epilator to remove each strand of hair easily.

Step 3 - Apply Talcum Powder

Use a talcum powder before using an epilator on your skin. The talcum powder will make your skin smooth. Do not apply the cream. Applying cream can make your skin greasy and your hair sticky. You can apply cream after the process but not before.

Step 4 - Stretch your skin and start the process

Once you are relaxed after taking a hot-water bath, with the help of your hand stretch your skin to tighten. Calm yourself down, it might feel scary for the first time but remember things get synchronised with experiences. Tighten the intended area and start the process. Keep your skin tight while epilation process.

Step 5 - Don't hurry

Do not rush into the hair removal process. Rushing sometimes may cause damage. Even though you might be in a rush, take your time as you might injure yourself. Once you are done, you are all set!
