Sikkim is home to over 200 bird species and has animals like red panda, snow leopard, musk deer, and Himalayan tahr.

Activities
While in Sikkim you can indulge in a bunch of exciting adventurous activities. One of the most favoured activity among tourist is the cable car ride. You can actually see Sikkim from a vantage point and the city looks just marvellous from high up there. You can also go paragliding for a more adventurous thrill-seeking ride. This ride takes you through the mountains and lets you witness the majestic Himalayas first hand.
Food
Northeastern food is one of the best to have when you’re travelling up there. They have some of the tastiest and most delicious delicacies to serve. Dishes like sisnoo, gundruk ka jhol, fermented soybean chutney are few among the items that you must try. The dishes usually are spicy or tangy, but they are filling and will leave you wanting more.
