Best places to explore in Goa:

1. Baga beach

Baga beach is one of the most famous beaches in Goa. The surroundings of the beach with the brim full of activities will not give you time to get bored. Baga beach is a great morning place to lounge in. People go there to soak the sun and interact with tourists travelling from all over the world. It is situated in North Goa. Water Sports like jet skiing, parasailing, banana ride, and boating water-sports are popular here.

2. Dudhsagar waterfalls

Dudhsagar waterfalls are situated on Goa-Karnataka border. It is also one of the tallest and must-see sights of India. Reaching the spot is a little difficult but it is worth putting effort and reaching the waterfalls. Monsoon season is the best to visit Dudhsagar waterfalls to rejoice the beauty of green jungle, lush, and beautiful waterfall. It is located at the Sanguem Taluka.

3. Bom Jesus Basilica Church

Bom Jesus Basilica, the most important place for tourist to visit and explore the heritage. Bom Jesus Basilica is the place in which the incorrupt body of St. Francis Xavier is kept. It was built in 1605. The building is constructed in baroque style and is also considered as one of the best examples of baroque architecture in India. You can visit the Bom Jesus Basilica in December for the best experience of the traditional feast. The Church is situated in Old Goa.

4. Fort Aguada

Fort Aguada is another heritage structure from the Portuguese people which has been standing stern on the beach facing the Arabian sea. An old lighthouse is there within the fort which was built in 1864, the oldest lighthouse of its shape and size in India. Fort Aguada is a great place to explore when you are visiting the Candolim or Sinquerium Beaches. The Fort Aguada is situated in North Goa.

5. Palolem beach

Palolem beach, the most visited place and the most beautiful beaches in Goa. Its peaceful waters bordered by headlands are still attractive. Situated in South Goa it is a popular tourist attraction. An early morning yoga class or dance at the offbeat Silent Noise club both are the great options. You put on headphones provided by the club into the early hours of the morning without any concern about the police interfering you because of the noise. Water sports like scuba diving, self-paddle kayaking, dolphin watching etc are famous at this beach.
