City Palace Jaipur opens its doors for a royal stay for tourists

Maharaja Sawai Padmanabh Singh has opened the City Palace Jaipur for tourist bookings. The Gudliya Suite in the palace can now be booked on the site Airbnb.

The 300-year-old City Palace, which is home to the royal family of Jaipur, is now open to bookings. It has now entered the list of bookable properties on the travel lodging website Airbnb. The part of the palace which is now available to the public is the Gudliya Suite.

The Gudliya Suite will be available on Airbnb from November 23.

Maharaja Sawai Padmanabh Singh became the first royal to offer a stay at his place of residence on the platform. Maharaja Sawai Padmanabh Singh is just 21 years of age. The initiative to open the palace for tourists' stay will support the rural women's empowerment initiatives. These are done by the Princess Diya Kumari Foundation (PDKF). This news was shared by Airbnb in a press statement.

The statement also talked about how the guests will be able to book and stay at the Gudliya Suite. It is certainly one of the most luxurious parts of the palace. The suite is located in one of the private sections of the royal palace. The part was used for the royals and their special guests. The place includes its own lounge, kitchen, luxurious bathroom, and a private, indoor swimming pool.

Maharaja Sawai Padmanabh Singh also shared his excitement about opening his home for the tourists. He talked about how he is thrilled that he and his family are partnering with Airbnb. He also added that they aim to bring the splendour of Rajasthan to life for travellers around the world. He also complimented Airbnb and said that his travels had made him feel welcome in new cities and cultures. He shared his happiness about the fact that the experience of quintessential Indian hospitality will be shared with others.

To feel like a royal and get the best of Rajasthan's hospitality, you can also book the Gudliya Suite from November 23. The bookings can be done on the Airbnb site or app. The price of the suite is approximately ₹ 5.5 lakhs per night.
