Pangong Lake

The very famous and sparkling blue Pangong lake is located near Leh-Ladakh, in the Himalayas, approximately at the height of 4350 meters. The place makes one feel relaxed and also offers peace of mind. A unique feature of the lake is that it does not remain blue in colour throughout the year, or even throughout the day. It changes colours from azure to light blue to grey and green too. The place has been a tourist attraction for long and has gained more popularity after being a famous spot for film shoots. It is a great place for a family to visit during their vacation.

Leh palace

Leh Palace is also known as ‘Lhachen Palkhar’. It is one of the most historic structures that can be found. This majestic mansion was built in the 17th century by King Sengge Namgyal as a royal palace for himself and his family. Leh Palace is one of the tallest buildings of its time with nine stories and offers an excellent view of the entire town of Leh. It is a must-visit place with your family for a relaxed and knowledgeable trip.

Shanti Stupa

Shanti Stupa is one of the most magnificent Tibetan structures that has ever been built. It is a white coloured dome dedicated to Buddhism. The fabulous building stands on top of a steep hilltop at a height of 11,841 feet above sea level. Shanti Stupa was constructed in 1991 by Japanese Buddhist, Bhikshu Gyomyo Nakamura. The view of the milk-white snow covering the magnanimous Himalayas is a sight to behold. Shanti Stupa is the perfect place for a family getaway.

Namgyal Tsemo Monastery
