It is shocking that Parliament was attacked from inside on the anniversary of the infamous 2001 attack on the Parliament on the same day. This happened despite clear warnings from Khalistanis and alerts from intelligence agencies. Definitely the entire security apparatus is answerable for the security breach and heads should roll. The MP who gave the pass to one of the culprits too will be asked questions by the security agencies for his lax attitude in releasing the passes.

However, this episode has only proven the point that there are many forces who are out to spread anarchy or create an atmosphere of anarchy in the wake of the coming General Elections of 2024. It is  also worrisome that the anarchist studied the security environment well, chose tools that could be smuggled through and caught the security personnel napping. This aspect has serious repercussions.

Forces of anarchy encourages

There are groups and politicians who have encouraged forces of anarchy, whether anti-CAA or farmers agitation or refused to criticise the January 26 attack on Red Fort, who helped spread rumours about a farmer being killed under his own tractor while he was doing some kind of stunt, that he was killed by police bullet. The forces who do not wish Bharat to rise as a global power have opposed each and every action of the government. They have challenged every law in the courts to thwart reforms. The same groups have been seen shouting at the top of their voices about this attack on Parliament. One can call it a terror attack as it was carried out in the temple of democracy and endangered the lives of Members of Parliament.

The shouting banshees were shouting about danger to the nation, failure of security, etc. While another panellist was calling it mischief. They were protesting too much. Because they are the people who stood by real bom- throwing terrorists, providing them with best possible legal support, those who forced open the highest court’s doors to seek pardon for terrorists and urban Naxals. They are the same people who supported ‘Bharat tere tukde honge Insha Allah Insha Allah’ sloganeers and those who shouted slogans ‘Afzal hum sharminda hain, tere qatil zinda hain’. There were the ones who refused to condemn the people who asked for ‘Sar tan se juda’. Irony and hypocrisy died 1000 deaths! You cannot run with the hare and hunt with the hounds.

Is opposition jumping the guns when they point fingers at the BJP?

None from BJP or supporters of BJP have justified this attack, protected the culprits or sought excuses. So why is this shouting brigade showing fake outrage? One of the ladies arrested can be seen on social media sitting in support of farmers, campaigning for Congress and Indian National Lok Dal (INLD). Some farmers have already come out in her support. Isn't the opposition jumping the gun when they point fingers at the BJP? Imagine the repercussions if the agitators are found to have political connections like this lady. It is a matter of national security, not of scoring political points while investigations are still going on.

Opposition needs to behave and work in a more responsible manner. Their toxic negativity is seen by the people. Results of last assembly polls have clearly shown this. Any attempts to create division in the society, playing politics on national issues will be seen in a very negative light by the citizens of this country. Let us be vigilant against the forces of anarchy.
