Bengaluru: Days after DMK Minister Anitha Rhakrishnan stoked controversy for abusing PM Narendra Modi on stage during a rally in Chennai, Karnataka Congress minister Shivaraj Tangagi me a similar remark.
Shivaraj Tangagi, who is Minister of Culture in Karnataka government, during a public dress said that those who support PM Modi should be punished.

Rebuking students for chanting PM Modi’s name, Shivaraj Tangagi said, “Those students who chant PM Modi’s name should be slapped.”

On Sunday, Tamil Nu unit of BJP shared a video clip of X on Sunday, accusing DMK leer and Minister of Animal Husbandry Anitha Rhakrishnan of hurling abuse at Indian Prime Minister during a public dress.
Posting on 'X' a video clip of DMK leer's remarks, BJP's Tamil Nu unit alleged that Rhakrishnan "spoke disgustingly" about Modi in presence of DMK MP K Kanimozhi and ors who witnessed "nauseating act", and alleged that it reflected "vulgar political culture" of ruling party in state.
