New Delhi: BJP on Monday slammed Congress accusing it of indulging in "dynastic politics" after party leer Rahul Gandhi decided to retain Rae Bareli Lok Sabha seat and vacate Wayan in Kerala for Priyanka Gandhi Vra to contest by-elections from seat.

"With Rahul Gandhi deciding to vacate Wayan seat and his sister to contest from re, it has become clear today that Congress is not a political party but a company of family," BJP national spokesperson Shehz Poonwala charged.

"Mor (Sonia Gandhi) will be in Rajya Sabha, son (Rahul Gandhi) in Lok Sabha from one (Rae Bareli) and Priyanka will also be in Lok Sabha from anor (Wayan) seat. This is a symbol of dynasticism," he ded.

BJP's reaction came after Congress president Mallikarjun Kharge said that Gandhi will keep Rae Bareli Lok Sabha seat in Uttar Presh and vacate Wayan seat in Kerala from where his sister Priyanka Gandhi Vra will contest.

BJP spokesperson termed Gandhi's decision to vacate Wayan seat as "betrayal" with people of constituency and alleged decision also makes it clear that Gandhi family's "political legacy" will remain with its son.

"This shows who is first between son and daughter," he charged.

Poonawalla claimed that Gandhi has decided not to leave Rae Bareli seat as he was aware that if he does so n this seat will go into BJP's kitty in bye-election.

Gandhi won Rae Bareli seat due to Samajwi Party's support, he said.

"Immediately after elections, BJP one again became strong in this seat," he claimed.

K. Surendran, who h contested on BJP's ticket from Wayan, is expected to be fielded against Priyanka Gandhi by saffron party from seat in by-poll.
