In this edition of Gaurav Arya Show, Major Gaurav Arya talks about Pakistan's struggle with the high prices of essential commodities as inflation remains high. He shares how prices of things like tomatoes, garlic, electricity etc have gone up. He also talks about the commission of INS Imphal by the Indian Navy. The Indian Navy commissioned the indigenously built stealth-guided missile destroyer INS Imphal on December 26 in the presence of Defence Minister Rajnath Singh, Navy Chief Admiral R Hari Kumar, Maharashtra Chief Minister Ekanth Shinde and other dignitaries. Speaking at the commissioning ceremony, Admiral Hari Kumar said that the INS Imphal is the first warship to be named after a prominent city of the north-east. "The name Imphal is very significant. This is the first time we are naming a major warship after a city in the Northeast of Bharat. We have a community of about 400 personnel from Manipur and it just symbolises the way warship functions with personnel from all over the country. Imphal reflects the same ethos of multi-culture, multi-faith, multi-class and all kinds of unifying sentiments. ‘Ek Bharat Shreshtha Bharat’ is the underlying theme," Kumar said.
