According to reports, It was a stellar event at the China Open with Carolina Marin and top seed Kento Momota claiming honours at BWF China open. Japanese world champion Kento Momota was the top seed in men's singles game and Carolina Marin defeated her Taiwanese counterpart to win the China Open championship. Netizens react on Marin's Win by showering praises on her and called her an inspiration after what all she has gone thorugh.

How did they do it? 

Three-time world champion Carolina Marin maintained her position as China Open world champion after she reportedly suffered a career-threatening injury. The Spanish golden girl quickly managed to recover from a game to defeat Taiwan's second seed Tai Tzu-Ying 14-21, 21-17, 21-18 in the Chinese city of Changzhou. Marin shed tears as she descended to the court and buried her hands after a spectacular win. Reportedly, she said that it is unbelievable and could not imagine during her rehabilitation that she can win her second tournament again despite a right knee injury in January, but, she did feel happy with herself. Reportedly, Japanese world champion Kento Momota secured his position as the top men's player with a 10-21, 21-17, 21-19 win over Indonesia's seventh seed Anthony Sinisuka Ginting in the final game. He also posted an Instagram image which read as : Achieved second consecutive victory. I only appreciate it. #Two consecutive victories #Thank you #Do not forget your initial intention #I will do my best.
