NBA: Golden State Warriors now have NBA's worst record after OKC loss
Golden State Warriors now hold NBA's worst record after their defeat against Oklahoma City Thunder on Sunday, November 10. Warriors will play Utah Jazz next.
Golden State Warriors have had their worst start to NBA season in eight years. On Sunday, November 10, Warriors fell to 2-8 after being defeated by Oklahoma City Thunder. The loss gave Warriors the worst league record. This is the first time Warriors are at the bottom under Joe Lacob and Peter Guber's ownership.
NBA 2019-20: Golden State Warriors are plagued with injury
The Warriors changed roster is one of the reasons why the team is finding it difficult to gain momentum. Kevin Durant left for the Brooklyn Nets in the offseason via free agency, and Klay Thompson was injured (torn ACL) in the NBA 2018-19 finals. On October 31, Stephen Curry also broke his left hand while playing the Phoenix Suns. The former NBA MVP will need at least three months to recover. Kevon Looney, who has played only one match this season, will also be missing two weeks due to neuropathy in his hamstring. Warriors announced the news on November 7 via Twitter. Draymond Green (finger injury), Omari Spellman (ankle injury) and Eric Paschall (hip injury) are also on the bench due to injuries. The Warriors will next face Utah Jazz on Tuesday, November 11 at the Chase Center (9:00 AM IST).
