Cheteshwar Pujara cannot hide his excitement of playing pink ball Test match

Cheteshwar Pujara has been one of India's most reliable Test batsman as he has the technique of playing rock-solid defence, holding onto one end and make the bowlers earn his wicket. He has also been India's go-to man whenever the team is in crunch situations in red-ball cricket. After all who can forget his outstanding batting which had a lot of temperament and find technique during the third and final Test against South Africa when India had toured there in early 2018. He held the innings firmly on an awkward Cape Town wicket which was full of uneven bounce. India went on to win the contest. Pujara was also India's leading run-scorer in the Test series against Australia where India had registered their maiden Test series win Down Under. Meanwhile, Pujara is all set for the upcoming pink-ball Test match against Bangladesh.

Cheteshwar excited for D/N Test 

Cheteshwar Pujara was very excited ahead of the second Test against Bangladesh which will be a day-night affair at the iconic Eden Gardens come November 22. This will also mark the occasion where a pink-ball international Test match will be played for the very first time in India. Meanwhile, Pujara took to the micro-blogging site and wrote that all eyes are on the pink ball now. The number three batsman had also posted an image of him practicing at the nets with his bat and the pink ball.

Virat Kohli practices with pink ball well in advance

Indian skipper Virat Kohli had hit the nets at the team's practice session on November 12. The captain was seen practicing some challenging shots as he slammed the pink ball with his iconic drives and blocks. With a lot of speculation surrounding the pink ball's behavior, the Indian team has ensured to prepare well in advance. Earlier in the day, Indian batsmen Cheteshwar Pujara and Ajinkya Rahane who have played with the pink ball in domestic cricket had said the team was confident of adapting to the new feature.
