As tensions between India and its neighbour Pakistan is rife, Cricket seems to have survived to maintain its cross-border love, as a Virat Kohli fan was spotted on Sunday in Lahore's Canal road in Pakistan.
The photo shared by a Twitter user shows a biker driving on an open road sporting a Pakistan cricket team's green jersey but bearing the legend of the Indian skipper Virat Kohli's name and jersey number- 18.
Incidentally, India is currently playing against the reigning World Champions Australia at the Oval where Indian batsmen put up a formidable total of 352 runs with a brilliant knock each from skipper Virat Kohli (82 runs) and star batsman Shikhar Dhawan (117 runs).
The 'Men In Blue' are charged up after their six-wicket win over South Africa in the opening encounter while the Kangaroos are aiming for a hat-trick of wins. Aussies head into this contest after impressive wins over Afghanistan and West Indies. At the same time, India is eager to avenge their loss in the 1999 World Cup against the Aussies at the same venue.
Reacting to the Pakistani Virat fan netizens have appreciated his dedication while some have advised him to hide from Pakistan Armed forces spokesperson Maj Gen Asif Ghafoor.
