Chahar's teammate and legspinner Yuzvendra Chahal on Monday congratulated the pacer in a very quirky manner. The Board of Control for Cricket in India shared a video on Twitter in which Chahar and Shreyas Iyer can be seen talking to the legspinner on his talk-show 'Chahal TV'. Speaking on the show, Chahal said in a fun segment that Chahar broke his bowling record and called him a 'shameless man' in Hindi.
Chahar too was pleased with his efforts. Speaking on Chahal TV he said that he didn't realize that he had taken the hat-trick and it is a nice feeling to achieve it.

Chahal, who was playing his 34th T20 International, took his 50th T20I wicket on the fifth ball of the 17th over when he took out Bangladesh skipper Mahmudullah's stumps. This made Chahal the fastest Indian to get to this landmark in T20I cricket. He is also the fifth-fastest in the world. He became the third Indian bowler to achieve this feat and is only preceded by veteran spinner Ravichandran Ashwin and pacer Jasprit Bumrah.
