After losing nine successive tosses, Faf du Plessis won't mind sending someone else in his place for the toss of the coin in the third and final Test against India, beginning here Saturday. South Africa faced a lot of challenges in Indian conditions and not winning the toss in the first two tests has made things tougher for them. Choosing to bat in Visakhapatnam and Pune, India put up 500-plus totals to virtually bat the visitors out of the game.

He said that the team competes with India in their own conditions. He said most probably the South African team will send someone to toss tomorrow because his record was not so great so far. He added hopefully it will unfold in the next couple of days and they can put some runs. He also said that the pitch looks a little bit drier and crustier so the first innings runs will play a vital role for the team.

India vs South Africa third Test will begin on Saturday

India vs South Africa third Test will begin on Saturday with the JSCA International Stadium Complex in Ranchi playing host to the final encounter. India took an unbeatable 2-0 lead in the three-match series after thrashing the visitors by an innings and 137 runs in the second Test in Pune and many may see the final Test as a dead rubber. But the World Test Championship has ensured that is not the case. With 40 points at stake, both teams will be looking for a win. India leads the World Test Championship table with 200 points, 140 points ahead of second-placed New Zealand. South Africa is winless after two games and therefore yet to register a point. India had won the first Test by 203 runs and followed it up with a win by an even bigger margin in Pune.
