Team performance

The two teams just concluded their T20I series with the last match being comprehensively won by the Proteas. In the first innings, SAW set a target of 176 for the Indian team with opener Lizelle Lee and captain Sune Luus scoring 84 and 62, respectively. Hope for the Indians came from Arundhati Reddy and Veda Krishnamurthy but they could not help the team much. The ODI series will be a fresh start for both teams and they will be hoping for less rain interruption after games in the T20 series got washed away.
