The Indian Cricket team which is a point away from qualifying for the semi-finals of World Cup 2019 will look to extend their undefeated run at the grand event when they face the host team, England, at Edgbaston, Birmingham on Sunday. Ahead of their clash, Indian skipper Virat Kohli attended a special press conference that was managed by children.

The BCCI took to Twitter as they shared a short snip of the special press conference. The post was captioned, "A new media manager, questions from the little ones- what a way to start a pre-match press conference."

This conference was held keeping in mind ICC's new initiative with UNICEF- 'One Day For Children'. This initiative was launched with the intent to bring the billions of cricket fans together to build a better world for every child. The initiative's ICC representative is none other than icon Sachin Tendulkar.

Activities related to the initiative will be omnipresent in all the 48 matches of the event. “There will be #OneDay4Children activity throughout all 48 matches of the event, peaking with a day of celebration during the England v India game on 30 June at Edgbaston. The money raised will support UNICEF’s work in cricket playing nations to help children learn to play and be healthy,” the ICC said.

The Cricket World Cup's Twitter handle, in light of the same, posted pictures of some of the merchandise of the top players that will be up for auction.
