Faf du Plessis has been one of South Africa's valuable players for the past few years. The Proteas skipper has not been having a good time on the field since a while now. He had led Proteas in this year's World Cup where they had a forgettable outing as the 'Rainbow Nation' was knocked out in the league stages itself. Faf was not selected for the ongoing T20Is against India as Quinton de Kock was named the captain. Faf du Plessis will now be leading South Africa in the upcoming Test series against India. However, his journey to India has gone horribly wrong.

Faf du Plessis is en route to India join his team-mates but his journey has been delayed which he himself has admitted and also added that he would miss the connecting flight from Dubai to India. Faf du Plessis also took to social media where he expressed his disappointment at an airline and wrote that he was on a plane to Dubai after a four-hour delay and he was going to miss his flight to India and that the next flight is only after 10 hours. Faf was not done yet. Later in the day, he once again told the airline that this was one of his worst flying experiences where everything had gone wrong.
