Australian fast bowler James Pattinson who recently retired from international cricket has angered fans with his action during yesterday's New South Wales vs Victoria Sheffield Shield clash. The pacer made a wayward angry throw that struck New South Wales opener Daniel Hughes' foot and left him injured. The duo also made verbal exchanges before both players went back to the pavilion for the Tea break. The incident took place during the second session on Day 4 when Hughes played a defensive shot back to Pattinson and the bowler threw the ball back at the batter hitting him on his leg. Ouch! While Victoria will have an option to appeal the CA’s verdict, they so far haven't and it is unclear if there are any plans to make one. Like, Mitch Starc does it for fun in England and he gets booed. Is it the way we play our cricket? You hit it back to the bowler, he picks it up and wants to peg you – I mean, what is going on there?
