In the first innings of the India vs England match at the World Cup, the home team performed with flying colours, setting up a massive total, which India would have to break its current World Cup chase record to break.

With Jonny Bairstow scoring 111 runs, fellow opener Jason Roy adding a strong 66, and all-rounder Stokes finishing the innings with 79, the Lions have set a target of 338 runs. It could have been worse, however, as Mohammad Shami's 5-wicket haul ensured that England weren't able to fully capitalise on their big opening..
