Hardik Pandya gives mouth-shutting response to Rauf after his send-off to Kishan - WATCH

During the India vs Pakistan Asia Cup 2023 match, the Indian team's batsmen did not do well at all. Top players like captain Rohit Sharma, Virat Kohli, and Shreyas Iyer were back in the hut within ten overs. At 66 runs in the 15th over, Shubman Gill was the next player to get out. It looked like Team India would get out for a low score. But wicket-keeper batsman Ishan Kishan and all-rounder Hardik Pandya saved the team by making a record fifth-wicket stand in an ODI match against Pakistan. Team India was all-out at 266 runs in 48/5 overs. However, The IND vs PAK Asia Cup 2023 match was rained out.

IND vs PAK: Haris Rauf taunts Ishan Kishan with his celebration

Even though it rained a lot in Kandy and cut the match short, the 2023 Asia Cup match between India and Pakistan was an exciting taste of cricket action. Even though the weather made things hard, the restricted play had many exciting moments. From Shaheen Afridi's exciting opening spell to Hardik Pandya and Ishan Kishan's impressive fifties, the first innings was full of ups and downs before it was cut short.

But in the middle of all the cricket drama, Pakistan pacer Haris Rauf seemed to let his feelings get the best of him as he took  Ishan Kishan’s wicket in a way that got a lot of attention on social media, especially due to his over-confident celebration. Ishan Kishan was one of the best players on the pitch, he scored 82 runs in 81 balls and helped India stay in the game.  Rauf's bowling numbers for the day were 3 for 58. He didn't get off to a good start because, in the first over, Shreyas Iyer hit him for two boundaries. Even though Rauf got his man in the end, he had to work hard, especially in the last few overs.

Hardik Pandya takes revenge on Haris Rauf 

Ishan and Hardik made a strong team, but Rauf was able to get rid of Ishan after the 138 runs he made with Pandya. But in the heat of the moment, Rauf’s over-the-top celebration failed very badly. In the next over, Hardik Pandya got his own back in a sweet way. In a very fast 40th over, Pandya hit three boundaries, sending a clear message that revenge could be cold.

When India won the toss, they decided to bat first, but rain stopped play when they were 15/0. As soon as the game started again, Shaheen Afridi took out Rohit Sharma and then Virat Kohli. Haris Rauf then made things worse for India by getting rid of Shreyas Iyer and Shubman Gill. This brought India's score down to 66/4. India was saved by the teamwork of Hardik and Ishan, which helped them get to a score of 266 all out.
