Harsha Bhogle shares throwback picture of 'chubby' Virat Kohli
Indian commentator Harsha Bhogle shared an old picture of Indian skipper Virat Kohli as he took to social media to recollect memories from his book launch
Indian commentator and analyst Harsha Bhogle shared an old picture of Indian skipper Virat Kohli as he took to social media to recollect memories from the launch of his book Winning Ways. Sharing a picture of a much younger and chubbier looking Virat Kohli, Harsha Bhogle recalled the event where former cricketer Gautam Gambhir was also present. Virat Kohli had been invited as the 'young executive' to the book launch while Gautam Gambhir was the 'middle manager'. For those who haven't seen Virat Kohli in his younger days will be shocked by his chubby appearance as opposed to the captain's ripped physique currently.

Virat Kohli looking forward for discussion with Ganguly
"I am going to meet him now. I am looking forward to a good discussion. He is someone who has played a lot of cricket before, who knows the situation we are in, what the team needs, the requirements of Indian cricket," said Virat Kohli at an Audi event here on Thursday. "So you need a good, professional, high-level discussion. It will be a healthy discussion because I am playing currently and he has played before, there will be an understanding of these things. I have had good discussions in the past with him and I expect the same this time," he added.
Sourav Ganguly on supporting Virat Kohli
Speaking about the captain of the Indian cricket team, Sourav Ganguly said, “I will speak to Virat Kohli tomorrow (Thursday, October 24). He is the captain of India; I think he is the most important man in Indian cricket. I will have a word with him, and as I said, we will support him in every possible way. He wants to make this team the best in the world. It's been a great team, to be honest, the way they have played cricket in the last three to four years, they have been a fantastic side. Yes, you can say that they have not won a World Cup, but you don’t win World Cups every time. We will hopefully support him with whatever he wants and make sure that Indian cricket goes ahead smoothly. In terms of Test cricket venues, we have a lot of States and a lot of venues. We will have to sit with him (Virat Kohli) and see what he wants in that way and take it forward from there.” One thing Ganguly wants from Kohli is to lead India to trophies in ICC tournaments, something that the country has not done since the Champions Trophy. On Wednesday, the 47-year-old Ganguly said he has a fair understanding of Virat Kohli and the team's requirements and he was committed to fulfilling those during his tenure.
