'I'm very tired': Virat Kohli has special request for Manjrekar post blitzkrieg 122 vs PAK
At the presentation ceremony after the India vs Pakistan Asia Cup 2023 Super 4s match, Virat Kohli made a special request to Sanjay Manjrekar.
On Monday, Team India completely outplayed Pakistan in every aspect of the game. The rain-affected match went to the reserve day where the Men in Blue hammered the Green Army by a whopping margin of 228 runs. Virat Kohli, who completed his 47th ODI ton was adjudged the player of the match.

India hammered Pakistan in Asia Cup 2023 Super 4 match
The India vs. Pakistan match is always considered the battle of nerves, and this time Team India held it perfectly to record their biggest win over arch-rivals Pakistan. In the batting department, all four batsmen were able to rake in significant scores. While Rohit and Gill gave India the ideal start, putting fifty each, KL Rahul and Virat Kohli finished it flawlessly to take India to a monumental score of 356.
Chasing 357, Pak suffered an early blow in the form of Imam ul-Haq, and following that Babar Azam also could not stay for long. The incoming delivery of Hardik Pandya rattled the stumps of Azam. Pakistan kept yearning for a partnership that never developed and as a consequence, the team surrendered at a score of 128. Only 6 more than what Virat Kohli scored.

Virat Kohli's special request to Sanjay Manjrekar after the match
Virat Kohli received the man of the match award for his 122 off 94. At the presentation ceremony when he came to collect his acclamation, Virat Kohli requested Sanjay Manjrekar, who was on the mic designated to perform the duty, to keep the segment brief. Though Kohli is known to explain every facet of the game, this time however he was "tired", and thus wanted to keep it short.
"I was going to ask you to keep the interview short, I'm very tired," Kohli told former India cricketer Sanjay Manjrekar after winning the Player of the Match award. “Just questions,” replied Manjrekar and Kohli responded with a big smile.
