Ind vs SA T20 2019: Virat Kohli shines as India go 1-0 up in series
In the second Ind vs SA T20 2019 which was played at Mohali Cricket Ground, Virat Kohli & Co. defeated the Proteas by a margin of seven wickets on Wednesday.
Virat Kohli, the skipper of the Indian cricket team, won the toss and chose to bat first at Mohali. South African captain Quinton de Kock played a decent knock at the top of the batting order as he scored 52. Debutant Temba Bavuma starred on his Proteas bow scoring 49. However, the rest of the visiting batsmen failed to light up the match. David Miller and Dwaine Pretorious took South Africa to a total of 149/5 after 20 overs. The home team was left with a target of 150 to chase in second Ind vs SA T20 2019.

South Africa fails to stop dynamic Virat Kohli
The Indian opening duo of Rohit Sharma and Shikhar Dhawan got the home team to a good start by setting up a partnership of 33. However, India was assured victory in second Ind vs SA T20 2019 after skipper Virat Kohli stepped onto the pitch post Sharma’s dismissal. Kohli (72*) was adjudged as man of the match for his impressive display in Mohali. Dhawan (40) was also back to his best with a strong performance at the top of the batting order. Ultimately, India registered a seven-wicket win against the Proteas and took a 1-0 lead in the three-match T20I series.
