IND vs SL: Rohit Sharma, KL Rahul, Hardik Pandya and others react to India's Asia Cup win

Asia Cup 2023: It took India only 37 balls for Team India to win the Asia Cup title for a record eighth time. The Rohit Sharma-led side bowled out Sri Lanka for just 50 runs in the first innings before reaching the score in just 6.1 overs. Mohammed Siraj took 6 wickets while Hardik Pandya took 3 wickets. Ishan Kishan and Shubman Gill opened the innings and took just 37 balls to chase down the target in the IND vs SL final to lift the trophy and defend their ODI Asia Cup title.

Team India's road to Asia Cup 2023 win 

The Indian cricket team faced a lot of challenges throughout their campaign in the Asia Cup 2023. After the Indian team's top order was destroyed by the Pakistani pace attack, Ishan Kishan and Hardik Pandya rescued Team India and took them to a fighting total. However, the match was later abandoned due to rain. The Men in Blue faced Nepal in their second match of the 2023 Asia Cup and won the match by 10 wickets single-handedly.

From here the Indian team never looked back and defeated Pakistan by 228 runs in their first Super 4s clash. Virat Kohli and KL Rahul scored centuries in the match whereas wrist spinner Kuldeep Yadav picked up a fifer. The Indian team crushed Sri Lanka by 41 runs in their next match, however, they also received a close loss against Bangladesh by 5 runs in their last Super 4s clash.
