Independence Day: Virender Sehwag's message for the country is one of undying patriotism

India is celebrating its 73rd Independence Day on Thursday. It is a day where not only one develops a patriotic feeling towards the country but also remembers the sacrifices which were made by many of our great leaders to fulfill India's dream of becoming an independent nation.

India is celebrating its 73rd Independence Day on Thursday. It is a day where not only one develops a patriotic feeling towards the country but also remembers the sacrifices which were made by many of our great leaders to fulfill India's dream of becoming an independent nation. On this day, the citizens of this country stand united and come forward to pay their respect to the motherland. 

As the nation celebrates yet another Independence Day, sports personalities like Sachin Tendulkar, Virat Kohli, Suresh Raina, Irfan Pathan, Sania Mirza, Jwala Gutta among others took to social media and wished their friends and fans. 

On this occasion, Virender Sehwag also has a very important message for the fellow Indians.

Virender Sehwag's motivational message on Independence Day

The former Indian vice-captain took to social media and conveyed a motivational message in which he wrote to salute this tricolour which is a pride and that it should always be kept high as long as there is life in the heart. Viru had also posted a picture of him waving the national flag after India had won the inaugural edition of ICC World T20 back in 2007.
