SL🇱🇰 have got a lot of things right throughout tournament but failed to apply themselves today. We still lack the ability to access the situation and play accordingly.

Malinga claimed that the match would have disappointed the fans from Sri Lank. He pointed out that the team had a great performance throughout the tournament but failed to make the most out of it in the final. He believes that Sri Lanka lack the 'ability to access the situation and play accordingly' and for a successful World Cup, Sri Lanka need to approach with a proper plan.
