Asia Cup 2023: The most anticipated IND vs PAK clash is underway and unfortunately for the players, fans and experts, the clash has been severely affected by rain and things are looking pretty bleak at the Pallekele International Cricket Stadium, Pallekele. The Indian cricket team could manage to score only 266 runs in their quota of 50 overs and they need to thank Hardik Pandya and Ishan Kishan for their heroics. As of now Pakistan are yet to bat with the rain pelting down.

IND vs PAK: Last Inspection, Cut-off time for match to start

As far as the extent of the rain goes, the match needs to be restarted by 10.27pm in order to have a 20-over contest atleast. Anything under 20 overs doesn't constitute a match and the match will be immediately called off.

Here are the revised DLS scores if overs are deducted:

  • Pakistan will need 254 runs from 45 overs
  • Babar Azam and Co. will need 239 runs from 40 overs
  • Pakistan will require 203 runs from 30 overs
  • The last criteria for Pakistan will be to score 155 from 20 overs

India recovered to post 266 against Pakistan in the Asia Cup here on Saturday. Ishan Kishan (82) and Hardik Pandya (87) revived India's innings with a 138-run stand off 141 balls after losing the first four wickets for 66 runs. Shaheen Afridi was the stand out bowler for Pakistan, ending with figures of four for 35 in 10 overs.
