Indian cricketers given verbal warning by BCCI after Virat Kohli's Insta story: Reports
BCCI gave a rebuttal to Virat Kohli, after he posted some confidential information on the photo sharing app Instagram. BCCI has a verbal warning to the team.
BCCI is displeased with Virat Kohli over his recent Instagram post. Kohli is quite active on social media and is the most followed personality on Instagram in India. As he represents a followership of more than 200 million on the popular photo-sharing app, he keeps his fanatics updated about his daily grind and life off the field. However, this time an entry on the site did not go well with the BCCI as it apprently breached a rule set up by the board.

Virat Kohli reveals confidential information to the world
On Thursday, Virat Kohli posted an Insta story in which he cut out a satisfied figure, having passed the yo-yo test. The former India captain revealed his yo-yo score to the world, which gave the followers an idea regarding the standard that is required to qualify for the fitness challenge. The information comes under the bracket of confidentiality, hence, the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) issued a stern warning to Virat Kohli and other players. As per reports, BCCI reminded the players about the consequences such social media posts could lead to. “Players have been informed verbally to avoid posting any confidential matter on social media platforms. They can post pictures while training but posting a score leads to breach of contract clause,” a BCCI official was quoted as saying in the report.

Virat Kohli's YO-YO Test score
Virat Kohli's Yo-Yo Test report read a score of 17.2. The score is 7 points more than the qualification zone. 16.5 is the required fitness mandate set up by the BCCI. Thus, while it gave the followers of the game an insight into how players prove their fitness, it did not come without the rebuking of BCCI.
