Deepak Chahar made headlines after his record-breaking effort against Bangladesh in the 3rd T20I in Nagpur. Chahar picked up 6/7, helping India win the match by 30 runs. The win helped India win the series, after they lost the first game in Delhi, before levelling the series in Rajkot. Chahar rose to prominence after a stellar IPL for the Chennai Super Kings. 1.  Alzarri Joseph, 6/12 vs SRH, 2019

Making his IPL debut, Alzarri Joseph put in a performance which has not been bettered in IPL so far. The West Indian fast bowler ran through the Sunrisers batting order, picking up 6/12, helping Mumbai Indians win the game by 40 runs. Joseph, who was picked up after pacer Adam Milne was injured, dismissed the likes of David Warner, Vijay Shankar, Deepak Hooda and the Sunrisers Hyderabad tail.

2. Sohail Tanvir, 6/14 vs CSK, 2008

Sohail Tanvir picked up 6/14 in the inaugural edition of the IPL against the Chennai Super Kings at Jaipur, 2008. Tanvir ran through the CSK top-order and then cleaned up the tail, as CSK were bowled out for 109. Rajasthan Royals comfortably chased down the target with more than 5 overs to spare.

3. Adam Zampa, 6/19 vs SRH, 2016

Adam Zampa, playing for the Rising Pune Supergiant, picked up 6/19 against Sunrisers Hyderabad, at Vishakapatnam. Zampa accounted for the entire SRH middle-order, restricting the Hyderabad franchise to 137/8. RPS couldn’t win the match, falling short by 4 runs.
