Jasprit Bumrah, considered a blessing for the Indian cricket team, in a very short span of time has learned and gained immense experience from the seniors
Jasprit Bumrah made his ODI debut in Sydney for the Indian Team in January 2016. The pacer has managed to perfect the art of bowling and take key wickets for his team. He has played 58 ODI matches and taken 103 wickets with an average of 21.88. Bumrah has built his reputation by a snappy bowling action. Recently in an interview, the veteran Ajit Agarkar said that everyone can see what progress Bumrah has made in the International Cricket. Agarkar also expects him to do well in India as well. The 41-year-old also said that Bumrah has the skill-set to perform in Indian conditions as well. A lot of people tend to forget that Bumrah has played a lot of first-class cricket before playing for the Indian team. He has bowled in one of the toughest conditions with the SG ball. Since the World Cup, Bumrah has not played a lot of cricket. He missed (rested) the T20Is and the ODIs. The 25-year-old only played the last two test matches against West Indies. The pacer is relatively fresh and will be very keen to perform in Indian conditions as well. Agarkar said that he would not be surprised if Burmah has an exceptional series.
The 25-year-old has played 12 test matches in which he has taken 62 wickets with an average of 19.24. All the test matches he played were on foreign soil. However, his performance has been exceptional in all formats of cricket. Apart from that, he has played in the Indian Premier League (IPL) for Mumbai Indians. He has been really helpful in the death overs of the match. Moreover, with conceding wickets, he has also restricted the runs of the opponent team.
